Work Experience/Skill Sets:
- Hands-on experience in the testing of Guidewire Suite with at least 10 yrs industry wide
- Knowledge of different system functionalities including script parameters, online and batch testing
- Good understanding of transactions within GW system
- Well experienced with GW integrated system related testing of portals, documents, finance and other downstream
- Proven experience of leading as test lead at all stages of the project till production implementation and incident support
- Experienced in preparing the project level artefacts (Test Strategy/Test Plan/Status Reports/Test Completion Reports) for an agile delivery model
- Good understanding of Scrum processes with demonstrated capabilities on:
- Representing the test team in Discoveries, Elaborations and Sprint Plannings
- Test scope identification and review processes with the key stakeholders
- Co-ordination with the scrum team for day to day tasks and test completion progress
- Good at test scenario designing, scripting, review and execution using required test management tools
- Good understanding for test estimations, resource loading and forecasting for the project duration
- Experience in identifying and preparation of test data for executions
- Hands-on experience with JIRA/Zephyr/Confluence for test management and reporting
- Good understanding of testing lifecycles, testing matrices, review and sign-off processes
- Working knowledge of involvement with the automation team for improvement of test efficiency and regression suites
Role Expectation:
- Represent test team in all the project related meetings and perform all day to day tasks in the capacity of a Test Lead for dedicated project
- Co-ordinate with onsite and offshore based test team for daily test progress
- Work closely with the project team and raise any risks/issues proactively with the required stakeholders
- Detailed test planning for ST/SIT/E2E/Regression test phases including involvement to oversee non-functional testing, UAT, Production Implementation and post implementation incident support
- Oversee project level test automation
- Regular status reporting of the project progress
- Maintain the testing processes and knowledge repository including cross functional knowledge management within the team”
