Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom automation frameworks across web, API, and enterprise applications using Selenium (Java/C#), Playwright, Tosca, or similar tools.
• Establish and promote test automation best practices, including framework architecture, modular scripting, data-driven testing, and maintainability.
• Lead a team of automation engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Implement and manage Automation as a Service (AaaS) to scale automation solutions across business units.
• Oversee and manage test scripts, libraries, and test data for reuse across projects.
• Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure seamless integration of test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Evaluate and onboard new tools/technologies and drive continuous improvement in automation strategy.
• Manage workload balancing between hands-on tasks and team leadership responsibilities.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-documented, and efficient automation code.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in test automation, with 2–4 years in a technical leadership or lead analyst role.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • Selenium with Java/C#
  • Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)
  • Tosca for model-based automation
• Proven experience in framework design and development from scratch.
• Demonstrated ability to manage automation teams, handle resource planning, and lead by example.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into agile development cycles.
• Excellent scripting skills, object-oriented programming knowledge, and familiarity with GIT, Jenkins, and JIRA.
• Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
• Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and test data management practices.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications.
• Exposure to enterprise-level automation in domains like finance, healthcare, or retail is a plus.
