Job Description (JD)

• Design, develop, and implement enhancements to the Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter). 
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in coding and design. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the Guidewire applications, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 
• Optimise application performance and contribute to the overall architecture and design of the platform. 
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. 
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development and data security. 
• Proactive involvement in Production code releases and hyper care incident fixes.
• Involved in providing effort estimations based on functional requirements of the user stories during Sprint planning and elaboration session.
• Prepared High Level and Low level Design Documents 
• Participate in defect triaging, analysing the defects and fixing them, solving ad hoc requests raised by business or testing team.
• Prepared build and deploy scripts using Jenkins.
• Deliver within the Agile Sprint process and deliver tasks on time.
