Essential:
- Experience working in Guidewire applications (claim center, billing center & policy center)
- Experience working in the Insurance industry
- Experience in agile working methodologies
- Experience in driving Test Planning, writing test cases and completion reports
- Strong communication and collaboration skills interfacing with key project stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in workshops to provide testing inputs and assess the required effort to understand the requirements, write test cases, execute and document results.
- Plan and execute functional testing (ST, SIT and UAT) throughout the Project Sprints
- Use knowledge of Guidewire to assist in brainstorming user stories
- Work with the Business (BA and SMEs) to understand requirements and develop test scenarios for each main process, alternate process and exception process flows.
- Execute tests and coordinate with Developers accordingly to:
- Validate that features are developed as per requirements
- Confirm if an issue is a defect
- Monitor defects and retest as needed
- Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information
- Participate and contribute to scheduled Sprint Review, Retrospective and Planning meetings
